This week, we conclude our mini-series on David and Goliath. Be encouraged.

Be who God called you to be using the tools you have now.

We’re continuing to look at the life of David in 1 Samuel 17, where the Israelites have agreed to the terms & conditions of the enemy, but David does not listen to the discouragers.

As we continue to look at 1 Samuel 16, we see how David’s gifts ushered him into the fulfillment of God’s promise. Don’t neglect the gifts God has given you while you wait for the next.

In this week’s teaching from 1 Samuel, we see that God chose David even when everyone else rejected him. Our validation must come from the Lord.
